The artist
I draw the most tormented side of the Normandy coast: bent trees, crumbling cliffs, the estuary changing with every tide. Almost all in black and grey, and sometimes a single colour, when the landscape demands it.
In the studio, I help everyone carry out their own project, whatever the technique.
I arrived with a photo of my mother's house. Six Tuesdays later, it was on the wall, in oil.
We commissioned a large charcoal of the bay for our meeting room. Camille came to see the wall before drawing.
My son could never sit still. On Wednesdays, he won't put his clay down.

A year of drawings of the estuary, at the Galerie du Vieux-Bassin.

Two days to model a piece, from the ball of clay to the firing.

Fifteen works for the autumn, in the lobby of a Deauville hotel.
